FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE THROUGH RESOURCEFUL ENTREPRENEURSHIP (FIRE)
The program is composed of three units
- Getting familiar with the use of available technology.
- Using Design Thinking to create and present a business plan.
- Using Technology and the Internet for Financial well-being and Resourceful Entrepreneurship
- A minimum of 30 promising
- Entrepreneurship ideas per area to be showcased and submitted for evaluation by a State Entrepreneurship Review and Advisory (SERA) Committee by 15 March 2024
A project providing women and girls from underserved and rural areas in our country an opportunity to become financially independent and successful in micro and small entrepreneurship ventures.
They will receive training as per curriculum on Technology usage; Creating a business plan; Resourceful Entrepreneurship; Challenges and Solutions
200 women per area identified will be taken though an initial one-day in-person intervention to enable them to acquire the skills they need to succeed in an increasingly knowledge-based economy.
They will in turn train 10 more women leading to a total of 2000 micro-entrepreneurship-ready individuals per identified area.
